I am currently the Agnes Blackie Memorial Research Fellow for the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies in the Physics Department at the University of Auckland.  I was previously a postdoc at Sorbonne Université (Paris 6) in the Laboratoire d’Imagerie Biomédicale.   I wrapped up my PhD in Physics in 2017 at the University of Auckland, after completing a MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Boise State University, and a BSc in Physics at Bethel University.   My research interests are photoacoustic and (laser-) ultrasonic imaging  for biomedical applications.
