Science Centre, venue for the Nano and Microfluidics conference

The annual Australia and New Zealand Nano and Microfluidics (ANZNMF) meeting draws together an informal network of researchers working in these areas, with the aim of facilitating an exchange of ideas and collaborative interactions.

This year’s meeting will be held in the new Science Centre building at the University of Auckland. The meeting will commence with a Student Workshop on 27th June 2018, followed by research sessions on the 28th and 29th, with a dinner to be held on the evening of the 28th.

The program will cover all areas of microfluidic and nanofluidics, from theory, fundamentals and engineering developments, through to bionanotechnology and the latest innovative technologies.

The meeting is aimed at those working in Australia and New Zealand, where these research areas continue to experience strong growth, but researchers from further afield are welcome to attend. Fabrication, characterisation, processing, devices and computational modeling are all strong themes.  The Student Workshop is designed to develop the skills of both novice and experienced students, exposing them to the current theories, innovations and practices in these fields.

Registrations open in February, please contact Dr Geoff Willmott, Senior Lecturer, Department of Physics for further information.
